Who We Help
Support for Where You Are in Life
At Hope & Light, we provide individualized mental health support for people across different ages, experiences, and circumstances. Our services are thoughtfully designed to meet you where you are and support your unique path toward healing, growth, and well-being.
Children & Teens
Children and teens may experience anxiety, stress, behavioral changes, difficulties at school, challenges with relationships, or changes at home. We provide a supportive space where young people can build coping skills, express their feelings, strengthen relationships, and navigate life’s challenges.
Adults
Adults may seek support for anxiety, stress, life transitions, relationships, grief, self-esteem, or other personal challenges. We offer a supportive space to process experiences, develop healthy coping strategies, and work toward greater balance and well-being.
Couples & Families
Relationships and family life can bring challenges related to communication, conflict, transitions, parenting, or changing family dynamics. We help couples and families build stronger communication, improve understanding, navigate challenges, and develop healthier relationships.
First Responders
First responders may face unique stressors related to demanding work, traumatic experiences, high-pressure situations, and the challenges of balancing work and personal life. We provide a supportive space to process experiences, strengthen coping skills, and support overall well-being.
Veterans
Veterans may experience challenges related to transitions, relationships, trauma, stress, or adjusting to life during and after service. We provide compassionate, supportive care focused on processing experiences, building healthy coping strategies, and navigating life beyond the uniform.
School-Based Counseling Referrals
We’re proud to partner with Queen Anne’s County Public Schools: Queen Anne's County High School, Kent Island High School, Stevensville Middle School, and ARISE Academy to provide accessible, compassionate mental health support for students. Together with students, families, and school staff, we support emotional well-being, healthy coping skills, and challenges such as anxiety, stress, mood concerns, trauma, self-esteem, and life transitions.
